The ESC Electronic Mock Audit Service
Are you analyzing your data trends? Are you ready for EPA’s additional quarterly electronic audits of your data?
Beginning with first quarter 2010 emissions data, EPA will now be conducting quarterly electronic audits of your data to ensure that the required linearity checks of gas monitors and RATAs are being performed only when units are operating, and to check for the possibility of CEMS probe leaks by examining CO2 emissions data using a control chart approach. With everything that is currently going on in the industry, including several upcoming GHG MRR deadlines, ESC understands that you may not have the time and resources to ensure that you are properly prepared for this new requirement. Take advantage of ESC’s Regulatory expertise!
Work with an ESC Regulatory Specialist to perform a mock audit of your data so that you’re prepared when it’s time for your quarterly audit. Using EPA recommendations, our Regulatory Specialist will sift through your data and determine if you are at risk. What else will we do?
-
Review quarterly linearity and semi-annual RATA tests to verify that units were operating
-
Perform the necessary configuration changes to ensure that control charts report CO2 data
-
Analyze results of CO2 data since the previous RATA
-
Prepare report summarizing findings
-
Discuss findings and provide guidance on next steps
Optional Service
Should an issue be identified, ESC’s Regulatory Specialist will assist you in identifying appropriate correction factors and determining if other parameters are affected. If an alternate data substitution method is preferred, we will aid you in creating a petition to be submitted to EPA. Upon approval, we will work with you to apply the correction factor(s) to your data and assist you in the resubmittal of your quarterly report(s) through ECMPS.
